Scope and contact

This notice covers personal information processed through Jayant’s Portfolio and Blog, Studio, Auth and Admin. Jayant operates these services. The Contact page is the point of contact for privacy questions, access, correction and deletion requests. Include the relevant product and account email, but do not send passwords or authentication tokens.

Information you provide

Account services process your email, profile name, avatar and information returned by the Google or GitHub sign-in provider you choose. Credentials and authentication factors are handled by the authentication service. Connecting a provider can expose the profile information and permissions shown in that provider’s authorisation flow.

Studio stores information you choose to put in account workspaces, such as files, folders, scratchpad cards, expense records, settings, favourites and online-game activity. Other participants can see information required for an online room or shared interaction. Many public utilities process input in your browser; network-backed features send the information needed to perform the requested operation.

The Contact form processes your name, reply email and message to deliver and respond to your enquiry. Do not include information that is unnecessary for your request.

Information generated by use

Authentication, security and operational systems process request information such as IP addresses, timestamps, browser details, resource identifiers and error or access events. This supports sign-in, abuse prevention, troubleshooting and service reliability. Hosting and network providers may also produce aggregate traffic statistics.

If you accept optional analytics, Google Analytics on public Portfolio and Studio pages measures visits and selected interactions, such as opening content or starting a contact enquiry. The application strips URL query strings and fragments from its page-view metadata. Optional analytics is not enabled by signing in or accepting product terms.

Cookies and local browser storage also remember sessions, privacy choices and features you request, including theme, sidebar and local tool/game preferences. The Cookie Policy explains these categories.

Why information is used

Information is used to provide the features you request, authenticate you, apply permissions, store and retrieve your content, respond to enquiries, protect the services and investigate failures. Optional analytics is used to understand usage and improve the sites only when the browser choice permits it.

The applicable legal basis depends on the activity and jurisdiction, including providing a requested service, legitimate operational and security interests, legal obligations, or consent for optional analytics where used. The cookie controls do not make all processing dependent on consent and do not switch off necessary security operations.

Providers and international processing

Service providers include Vercel for hosting, Supabase for authentication, database and file storage, Cloudflare for network delivery, protection and traffic information, Resend for contact-email delivery, Google and GitHub when you use their sign-in methods, and Google Analytics when you permit optional analytics. Features that explicitly call an external service are also subject to that service’s handling of the submitted request.

These providers may process information in countries other than yours. Processing locations, safeguards and provider retention depend on the service and its configuration. Information may also need to be disclosed to meet legal obligations or address fraud, abuse or security incidents. Public Portfolio content is intentionally public; private workspace content is restricted by product permissions.

Retention and deletion

Account and workspace information is retained to operate your active account and the resources you keep. Delete individual resources using the product controls where offered, or request deletion through Contact. Some product deletion actions first move resources to trash or another recoverable state; follow the product’s permanent-deletion controls when available.

Contact correspondence is kept as needed to respond to and follow up on the enquiry. Operational records, backups and provider-held records can have separate lifecycles. Information may need to be kept longer for security, disputes or legal obligations. This notice does not promise a fixed automatic inactivity-purge schedule or immediate erasure from every provider backup.

Your browser’s optional-analytics choice expires after 180 days unless changed earlier. Changing cookie preferences does not delete existing account content or analytics information already processed. Contact Jayant if you need help with a data-deletion request.

Your choices and requests

You can reject or withdraw optional analytics from Cookie preferences without losing access to the sites. You can manage your account profile and security through Auth and use available product export and deletion controls. Where applicable law provides rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, use Contact to exercise them. Some information may be needed to verify that a request belongs to you.

You may also have the right to contact your local data-protection authority. These services are not intended to solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information that should be removed, contact Jayant.

Security and notice updates

Access controls and security measures are used to protect account and workspace information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials private, use available multi-factor authentication and report suspected misuse.

The updated date identifies the current notice. Material changes will be reflected here and, where appropriate, communicated through the affected product. Cookie preferences remain separate from any product-terms acceptance.
